Covid-19 statement

As chiropody and podiatry practitioners, we need to get close to our patients to carry out our work, so ahead of our return to work on Monday 1st June, we have been carefully planning to keep our patients and staff safe.

As well as use of personal protective equipment and cleaning/sterilisation of our equipment and work areas, we have put the following specific measures in place:

  1. Perspex screens have been installed in our treatment rooms between the practitioners and patients, along with air purifiers.
  2. Appointment times will be staggered to avoid contact with other patients and a new electronic door entry system has been installed so that our receptionists will not have to answer the door themselves.
  3. When attending your appointment, please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible, as if the reception area is not clear you may need to wait outside for a short while.
  4. Please come to your appointment alone, as we will be unable to accommodate partners/relatives in the reception area.

Furthermore, we are pleased to say that none of our employees or patients have been diagnosed with Covid-19 as far as we are aware.
